Located in the Lower Dibang Valley, in the easternmost part of India, Abali Organic Tea Estate lies on the foothills of the Himalayas in Arunachal Pradesh, overlooking snow-clad peaks and the mighty Brahmaputra River.
This region is home to the Idu Mishmi and Adi Padam tribes, proud communities who migrated centuries ago from China across the Himalayas. The Abor and Mishmi fiercely resisted British forces near Sadiya, where Tea was first discovered in India.
Learn More About Us
Abali Organic Tea Estate is a pioneer of Vrikshayurveda, the ancient Indian Science of agriculture practiced by Rishis and traditional farmers and described in Vedic teachings.
At Abali, these time-tested organic methods enhance soil fertility, correct mineral deficiencies, balance soil pH, and naturally control pests and diseases without chemicals.
Making Organic Viable →Tea leaves are processed in a mini, unconventional factory designed by Mr. J.W. Steinherr of Shillong. Withering is done near the Lohit River in traditional thatch houses using bamboo, cane wood, and stainless steel.
Every step reflects care for quality, purity, and people who valued a chemical-free, health-enhancing drink.

Our Organic Teas are produced under the guidance of Swami Valmiki Srinivasa Ayangarya, who introduced Vriksh-Ayurveda practices at Abali.
Each Tea bush is nurtured with patience, care and deep respect for Nature and Vedic wisdom.
